We meet the second Wednesday of every month at 6:00 pm  ( Except Aug. & Dec. 

The Lower Cape Fear Coin Club was founded in 1963 by area numismatists interested in getting together to share their great hobby of collecting coins, paper money, tokens, medals and numismatic literature.

Our Club is composed of novice collectors, more advanced collectors and collectors at every stage in between...with a couple of dealers thrown in the mix.

Our members collect everything:  Error coins, topical coins, National banknotes, rare books, auction catalogs, challenge coins, plaster coin molds, current coins, commemorative coins, autographs, stamps ancient coins, novelty items and even matchbook covers.  You name it and if there is more than one of it...someone in our Club collects it.

The LCFCC prides itself in having an interesting program every month so you will always learn something.  Members usually bring in interesting for 'Show and Tell' and sometimes just to learn what it is they have.  Our business meetings are separate from our regular meetings so you will not get bored.  We have an attendance prize (to encourage members to be here on time), a 50/50 raffle (so you can buy more coins!) and an auction for those who want to sell spare items or to add to their collections.

A monthly newsletter updates you on Club activities, nearby coin shows, hobby happenings and numismatic news you can use. We enjoy coming early for food and fellowship before the meeting begins.  Please 'Come on down'!
