The Ames Coin Club- Serving Central Iowa Collectors and Enthusiasts since 1961!

The Ames Coin Club is one of the liveliest numismatic organizations in the state. We host the annual Nevada, Iowa, coin show, one of the largest in the region, every February. Kirk Nichols, owner of Chester's Coins and Gifts, is our adviser. The club meets the last Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Heartland Senior Citizen Center, 205 Walnut. You are welcomed to arrive early at 6:30pm, for your young numismatist to have extra time to talk about and enjoy our hobby! Each meeting has a door prize, show and tell, announcements, opportunities such as camps and seminars for young numismatists, and special presentations. New members are always welcome to join!

Annual Dues: $5 adults, $2 youth (July 1st - June 30th).
