In Arkansas, the sale of coins, currency, and bullion is exempt from state and local sales tax.
The exemption has been in effect since October 1, 2021, under Arkansas Code § 26-52-454, which states:
"The gross receipts or gross proceeds derived from the sale of coins or currency or bullion are exempt from the gross receipts tax..."
